If you are looking to purchase a condominium, townhome or single family home and are relying on advertisements in the real estate guides, newspapers, out-of-date company and real estate agent web sites – Please Stop! You may miss out on properties that are currently available for sale, but not in the resource you are looking at.

Search the entire Frederick County real estate market by entering/clicking on the “Buyers Home Search” tab. This Buyer's Home Search section is the Metropolitan Regional Information System (MRIS), or better known as the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). This is the same source that a REALTOR® uses to obtain information and to search for available properties. This section will only provide Active/Available properties for sale, and not properties that are Under Contract or are already Sold.
 

Here’s how it works:

1. Click the “Buyer's Home Search” tab.

2. Input your search information to look for available homes. When you see a home that you like, just simply print out a colored brochure/flyer of that property, showing the picture, price, number of bedrooms and baths, directions to the property and much more. (If you already have an MLS number – example: FR1234567 – just put it in the “Quick Search” area to get fast information pertaining to that particular property.)

3. Once you have completed your property search, simply save your information for automatic up-to-the-minute emails regarding New Listings that match your saved information.

4. When you are satisfied with your property search and would no longer like email updates, simply Delete your property search to stop the automatic emails.

This Buyer's Home Search section is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can use this section any time convenient to you.
